About Dee Emerson

Hi, I’m Dee. I am a fully qualified counsellor specialising in working with children and young people
Based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire,
I help young clients navigate challenges like anxiety, low mood, family changes, and school or peer pressure. My goal is to promote positive mental health and build resilience in every child

I have a Foundation Degree in Therapeutic Counselling and a First Class Honours degree in Applied Social Sciences, with specialist training in counselling children and young people. I have over six years of experience helping children through school counselling and community service. In sessions, I use creative, play-based activities and person-centred, psychodynamic and systemic techniques to make each child feel comfortable and understood
